This is also fixed with this update - you can share any calendar regardless of permissions on other calendars in your mailbox. Secondary calendar sharing in Mac: As you were probably aware, in order to share a secondary calendar from Mac, you also had to share your primary calendar.It doesn't matter if you've been explicitly shared the calendars, or you are opening the calendar of another user in your organization where you have permissions via the default organization permissions. With this update, you can open & view calendars where you have only free/busy permissions.

In the Calendar Properties box, choose Remove, then OK.The Mac OS X Calendar application uses a legacy API (the EWS API) which does not support shared calendars. In order for Mac users to see your calendar, they'll need to be assigned the Reviewer permission level. The default is free/busy, which shows your free/busy status in the scheduling assistant.

You can grant different permission levels to different individuals. Note that the settings for Read, Write, Delete, and Other options change based on the permission level you choose.Ĭheck the boxes that apply in the Read, Write, Delete, and Other sections, and then select OK. In the Calendar Properties box, select the Permission Level down arrow, and choose the permission level to assign to the person you added.
Tip: Their name will show up in the Calendar Properties box.
